The Role

As a Site Services Assistant, you will play a key role in maintaining the smooth day‑to‑day running of site operations and ensuring essential services are delivered effectively. Day‑to‑day, you’ll support a wide range of facilities and operational activities across the site, combining administrative tasks with hands‑on support including goods receiving, contractor coordination, site logistics, and workspace changes.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Goods receiving and post/package notifications
  • Supporting contractor control activities including Mechanical and Electrical (M&E) checks against Risk Assessment Method Statements (RAMS)
  • Site waste administration and support
  • Stationery ordering and stock management including office and kitchen supplies
  • Assisting with lift and shift activities and workspace moves
  • Supporting minor Facilities Management (FM) tasks such as lock changes and equipment resets

Essential experience of the Site Services Assistant:

  • Previous experience in a multi‑skilled administrative or site support role
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and work independently with minimal supervision
  • Knowledge of Health & Safety practices
  • Experience using Microsoft Office applications
  • Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to changing operational needs

Essential qualifications for the Site Services Assistant:

  • Level 3 NVQ in a vocational field or relevant equivalent experience
  • Forklift licence or willingness to obtain one

This role is 37 hours per week based at our Farnborough site with a minimum average site attendance of three days per week. Set working times are 8:00am–4:30pm, Monday to Friday.
