- About the Opportunity
Are you a qualified finance professional who enjoys turning financial data into meaningful insight?
We’re looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Group Management Accountant to join our Group Finance team and play a key role in monthly reporting, consolidation, variance analysis, audit support, and continuous improvement across an international finance environment.
- What You’ll Be Doing
- Prepare monthly consolidated group reporting packs.
- Analyse actual results against budgets and forecasts, investigating and explaining key variances.
- Drive and develop balance sheet controls and reporting improvements.
- Work with our international finance team to ensure accurate, timely, and consistent reporting.
- Support statutory audit and tax processes, including managing and coordinating support provisions, answering queries, and preparing group consolidation adjustments.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, reporting files, systems, and financial controls.
- Provide financial insight and respond to ad hoc queries from senior stakeholders, internal teams, and external advisers.
- What We’re Looking For
Essential experience and skills
- Qualified accountant: ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to explain financial performance clearly.
- Advanced Excel capability and confidence working with financial reporting systems.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with finance and non-finance stakeholders.
Nice to have
- Experience working with international teams or in a group reporting environment.
- Experience supporting audits and year-end processes.
- Exposure to business transformation projects.
- Knowledge of cashflow forecasting and treasury principles.
- Experience working with and integrating AI into process to drive efficiency
