Job Description

As a Quality Control Inspector specializing in fresh produce, you will report to the QA Manager and work as part of our Operations team in Staffordshire, UK. Your role is crucial in delivering our industry-leading quality assurance services and ensuring that all work complies with QIMA\’s high standards. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting thorough inspections of incoming and outgoing fresh produce.
  • Monitoring product quality, appearance, and freshness to ensure standards are met.
  • Verifying compliance with food safety regulations and customer specifications.
  • Identifying and resolving quality issues promptly to maintain product integrity.
  • Maintaining accurate records and documentation of inspection results.

Qualifications

Do you have the skills we’re looking for? We seek candidates with:

  • Proven experience in quality control, preferably in the fresh produce industry.
  • Previous experience with berries, such as blueberries, raspberries, and blackberries, would be a plus. However, experience in quality control inspection of other fruits is also acceptable.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and quality standards.
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities.
  • A valid driver’s license.
