Job Description

You will be expected to:

  • Conduct audits at assigned client locations and determine compliance with findings of inspections and audits.
  • Conduct food safety audits.
  • Summarize and evaluate inspection/audit findings.
  • Communicate findings/results of inspections/audits with client site management or appropriate client personnel.
  • Develop effective work plans for the completion of assigned inspections/audits within a determined timeframe.
  • Establish and maintain effective communication with headquarter based project managers as it relates to assigned clients.

Qualifications

It could be you, if you have:

  • Bachelor\’s degree and/or master\’s in food science or biological sciences.
  • At least 5 years of food manufacturing/QA experience related to GMP, HACCP or higher food safety standards (BRCGS, FSSC22000).
  • Minimum 3 years auditing experience in food industry with more than 100 audits. Certified for GFSI scheme leader auditor or ISO ISO22000 leader auditor is a plus.
  • Must have knowledge of relevant legislative requirements and an understanding of quality assurance, quality management and HACCP Principles.
  • Ability to work independently in remote locations. Willingness and ability to travel within the assigned territory.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, i.e. Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
  • Proficient in English-oral and written.
