Overview
A national freight company is currently seeking skilled HGV Class 1 Drivers. to join its busy network of depots across London and the South East of England.
The Role
Primarily trunking, you will be responsible for transporting loads safely and efficiently from depot to depot.
Responsibilities
- Transport loads to designated depot locations
- Ensure compliance with all relevant commercial driving regulations
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Maintain accurate delivery records
- Adhere to safety protocols at all times
Pay and Shift Patterns
- £25.59 to £28.85 per hour (including holiday pay)
- AM and PM starts available
- 8 to 12 hour shifts
- Day and weekends available
Qualifications
- Hold a valid CE commercial driving license, CPC card and Tachocard
- Proven 2 years plus commercial experience as a CE driver
- Less than 10 infringements in the last 12 months
- No more than 6 points or major endorsements/convictions
- Ability to operate vehicles safely and responsibly
- Strong communication skills
- Excellent organisational skills
