The QIAGEN Statistics and Data Science team provides expert study design, statistical analysis, and data-driven insights to support the development of a diverse portfolio of diagnostic solutions addressing both existing and emerging medical needs.

Your tasks include:

• Design analytical, clinical, and performance studies to demonstrate the safety, effectiveness, and performance of diagnostic products.
• Collaborate with cross-functional project teams and provide statistical expertise throughout product development and validation activities.
• Develop statistical analysis plans and ensure the appropriate application of statistical methodologies.
• Program and review statistical analyses, including the generation of tables, figures, and listings using SAS or other relevant software tools.
• Interpret and present study results to project stakeholders and contribute to technical and regulatory documentation.
• Depending on seniority, drive or support the continuous improvement of statistical processes, study design approaches, and reporting standards.
• Mentor and support team members, depending on experience and seniority level.

Your profile includes:

• Degree in Statistics, Biostatistics, Mathematics, Data Science, or a related quantitative discipline; equivalent professional experience will also be considered.
• Experience applying statistical methods within scientific, biomedical, clinical research, diagnostics, pharmaceutical, biotech, or related regulated environments.
• Proficiency in SAS or other statistical programming software (e.g., R) used for data analysis and reporting.
• Experience performing sample size calculations and providing study design recommendations using tools such as nQuery or comparable software.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to translate statistical concepts for diverse audiences.
• Proven ability to collaborate effectively across functions, cultures, and geographical locations.
• Demonstrated initiative, curiosity, and commitment to continuous learning and innovation.
