Our client, a leading global asset manager, is looking for an experienced Business Change Project Manager to join their growing transformation function. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in the end-to-end delivery of new business initiatives across a wide range of areas including new assets, products, instruments, mandates, execution platforms, markets, and counterparties.
This is a highly visible role working closely with front office Heads of Desk, the COO, and multiple support functions. You will be responsible for assessing, planning, managing, and implementing change requests within a structured and well-defined process, while helping to drive continuous improvement in how new business is delivered.
The ideal candidate will bring a strong understanding of financial products, solid experience in project or change management within the asset management sector, and the confidence to engage with senior stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:- Act as the key point of contact for front office teams to raise new business change requests
- Coordinate assessments with relevant stakeholders and support functions
- Lead the approval and prioritisation process, including drafting business cases
- Manage the Steering Committee including COO and front office leadership
- Provide full project lifecycle delivery from initiation to go-live
- Communicate project updates clearly to stakeholders across the business
- Oversee investment workflow projects as part of the firm’s Microsoft 365 Modernisation programme
- Contribute to projects beyond the scope of new business onboarding where required
- Strong background in change management and project delivery
- Excellent understanding of financial services, ideally within asset management
- In-depth knowledge of financial products and instruments
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and navigate cross-functional teams
- Skilled communicator with senior stakeholder management experience
- Investment operations or pensions sector experience
