Asset Management - London with a Hybrid working model. We are looking for an Analytics Developer / Python Developer to join a leading UK asset manager. This role sits within a specialist quant and front office analytics team supporting investment decision-making across public and private markets.
This role focuses on delivering production-grade Python code to provide the investment decision makers with better analytics, dashboards and tools. The information is used directly by portfolio managers and investment teams. It is a hands-on development role with elements of business analysis and requirements gathering.
The role:
- Develop Python-based investment analytics and dashboards
- Partner with investment teams across equities, rates, credit, private markets and ESG
- Translate investment questions into scalable technical solutions
- Support and enhance a substantial existing Python codebase
- Apply strong engineering practices including Git, testing and CI/CD
- Use SQL and modern data tools to support analytics delivery
About you:
- Strong Python developer with experience writing production-quality code
