Senior HRIS Data Analyst – Data Migration & Governance
We're looking for a technically strong Senior Data Analyst to join a system transformation programme. This role sits at the heart of the data workstream—owning the migration, quality, and governance work that underpins the new system.
What You’ll Do
- Lead data migration planning and execution—including transformation rules, mapping specifications, and legacy‑to‑target data flow.
- Define and run data validation, profiling, and integrity checks across a complex dataset.
- Build conceptual, logical, and physical data models in partnership with Data Architects and Governance lead.
- Establish data ownership, stewardship, and a quality framework.
- Own data dictionaries, business glossaries, and metadata standards.
- Manage migration testing cycles (SIT, UAT, parallel runs) including full reconciliation.
- Translate technical data concepts into clear documentation for non‑technical stakeholders.
What You’ll Bring
- Strong, hands‑on experience in data migration on a systems transformation program.
- Solid grounding in data modelling (conceptual, logical) and a data governance framework.
- Proven track record building data dictionaries, glossaries, and quality frameworks— not just reporting.
- SQL proficiency; Excel and Power BI preferred.
- Strong stakeholder communication skills, able to bridge technical and business audiences.
