Data Architect – Finance and HR Reporting and Analytics
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Data Architect to lead the development of a cutting-edge finance and HR reporting and analytics platform. This permanent role offers the chance to influence strategy, deliver innovative solutions, and work with modern cloud technologies to drive meaningful business outcomes.
You will play a key role in defining the architecture, creating robust data solutions, and ensuring seamless integration across platforms and business functions. With a focus on collaboration and continuous improvement, this hybrid role requires 3 days a week in the office , fostering connection and shared innovation within a dynamic team environment.
Responsibilities
- Develop multi-year roadmaps aligned with business and architecture strategies.
- Define strategic data architecture for Finance and HR reporting, guiding the transition from current-state to target-state.
- Design conceptual, logical, and physical data models, along with data flow diagrams and architecture standards.
- Provide hands-on direction for developers, ensuring solutions align with strategic goals and best practices.
- Lead the design and delivery of scalable, efficient data solutions that integrate with cloud platforms and third-party applications.
- Resolve data quality issues through reconciliation and collaboration with relevant stakeholders.
- Build strong relationships across teams to ensure alignment and effective communication.
- Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion, fostering a collaborative and respectful work environment.
Essential Skills
- Expertise in cloud data warehouse solutions, including Snowflake, Informatica CDI, and DBT.
- Strong experience delivering architectural frameworks, including data models and flow diagrams.
- Hands-on development of ELT pipelines, schemas, and standard database entities in a cloud environment.
- Advanced proficiency in SQL and Python for data processing and management.
- In-depth knowledge of finance or HR data, with the ability to address data quality challenges.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to deliver clear, actionable architectural designs.
- Skilled in communicating with senior leaders and executives, translating technical insights into business language.
- Familiarity with tools such as AutoSys, Databricks, and Informatica PowerCenter.
Desirable Skills
- Experience with SAP FI, SuccessFactors Employee Central, or SAP BW.
- Proficiency in Power BI and DBT.
- Knowledge of machine learning or AI applications.
- Experience leading product development as a Product Owner or Product Manager.
