We are recruiting on behalf of a leading UK asset manager for an Analytics Developer to join a specialist front office analytics team supporting investment decision-making across public and private markets. This role focuses on building production-grade Python analytics, dashboards and tools used directly by portfolio managers and investment teams. It is a hands-on development role rather than a reporting or risk function.
The role:
- Develop and maintain Python-based investment analytics and dashboards
- Partner with investment teams across equities, rates, credit, private markets and ESG
- Translate investment questions into scalable technical solutions
- Support and enhance a substantial existing Python codebase
- Apply strong engineering practices including Git, testing and CI/CD
- Use SQL and modern data tools to support analytics delivery
About you:
- Strong Python developer with experience writing production-quality code
- Experience working with financial or investment data
- Understanding of portfolio management concepts and investment processes
- Comfortable working in a user-facing, front office environment
- Interested in building analytics that directly support investment decisions
