We’re hiring on behalf of a global asset manager undergoing significant transformation across its investment operations and technology estate. This role sits within a strategic team focused on shaping operating models and enabling large-scale, front-to-back change initiatives.
The Opportunity:
As a Business Architect, you’ll work across the investment lifecycle to assess and design future-state operating models, define organisational structures, align change portfolios, and guide key stakeholders through complex decision-making. You’ll help translate strategy into execution and ensure delivery is aligned to long-term goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyse and define front-to-back investment operating models
- Lead design of business capabilities, roles, structures, and governance frameworks
- Own strategic design problems independently, collaborating with BAs and tech architects
- Provide insight into centralised/decentralised, insourced/outsourced models
- Advise on gaps, risks, and opportunities within current and future-state models
- Guide delivery teams and provide oversight across change implementation
- Shape roadmaps and provide strategic input to senior governance forums
What We’re Looking For:
- Deep experience in asset management (ideally across Investments, Ops, Distribution)
- Proven leadership in operating model and business architecture design
- Strong stakeholder management – comfortable advising at C-suite level
- A strategic thinker with strong analytical and communication skills
- Solid grasp of financial markets, products and operational processes
