As a Data Analyst focused on AI/ML, you will work closely with our AI/ML team to deliver advanced analytics and support bespoke machine learning models for energy data. You’ll prepare datasets, contribute to model training/validation workflows, and present insights through clear visualisations that inform product and operational decisions.
Responsibilities
- Data Preparation – Build reliable, well-documented datasets from pipelines for analysis and model input.
- Model Support – Assist with feature preparation, training/validation runs, and results tracking for energy use cases.
- Analytics & Insight – Explore datasets, quantify patterns, and provide actionable findings to stakeholders.
- Visualisation – Create clear dashboards/visuals to communicate trends and model outcomes.
- Quality & Governance – Validate data assumptions, handle anomalies, and document definitions/metrics.
Qualifications
- Strong SQL and Python skills for analysis, data wrangling, and reproducible workflows.
- Experience with data pipelines and with model training/validation support.
- Familiarity with modern visualisation tools and best practices for explanatory charts.
- Passion for applying AI to real-world renewable energy and smart-grid challenges.
