About the role
Mission
QFEX is building the mostdelightful retail trading experiencethat’s ever existed. We need a visionary UI/UX designer to work alongside our product team and take the product from feedback to fruition. This is an incredible opportunity to work alongside anelite, well-fundedteam of builders from some of the biggest financial companies in the world (Citadel and Tower Research Capital) and change the course of financial history.
What You’ll Do
- Define and Build QFEX’s Design System & Brand Identity
- Establish a cohesive visual language, component library, and interaction patterns tailored for a high-performance trading platform.
- Lead End-to-End Design
- Partner closely with frontend engineers to turn wireframes and prototypes into production-ready UI/UX.
- Institute a Continuous User Research & Feedback Loop
- Design and run usability studies, A/B tests, and in-platform analytics to validate hypotheses and uncover pain points.
- Establish Scalable Design Processes & Communication Channels
- Set up design tooling (Figma libraries, version control, documentation) and workflows (reviews, QA, accessibility checks).
What You’ll Need
- 3+ years designinghigh-performance, data-dense applications.
- Strong portfolio showcasing end-to-end work: wireframes, high-fidelity mockups, interactive prototypes.
- Experience setting up and synthesizingusability studies, A/B tests, analytics dashboards.
- Impeccablelevels of trust in yourself and others, including the ability to makedecisions in minutes, not days.
- UK work authorisation and willingness to workMonday–Friday from our central London office.
Bonus points
- Exposure to order-flow, market-data visualization, risk dashboards, or crypto exchanges.
- Familiarity with HTML/CSS and modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g. React) to collaborate deeply with engineers.
