Lunesdale Learning Trust are seeking a Learning Support Assistant - Level 2 and would welcome applications from those who are looking for a career to work with individual students with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) to help work towards outcomes on their Education Health and Care Plan (EHCP) and Student Support Plan (SSP). This may include supporting children with a variety of needs including social, emotional or mental health; physical or sensory; learning and cognition or language and communication difficulties. Applications are welcomed on a full or part-time basis.
Working with class teachers, our LSAs provide social and emotional support to those pupils as well as help with their learning and attainment; both individually or working with a small number of children in the classroom.As well as having good academic skills; a patient, caring and considerate approach is essential for this role to build positive relationships with pupils.
Please note although advertised as a salary scale, the successful applicant would commence on NJC 6 with annual progression.
