Our client, a best – in – class trading group who have been in operation for 6+ years, are expanding their headcount in their London office due to outstanding 2024 performance and a significant increase in AUM.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with on-site researchers to improve quantitative trading strategies and profits.
  • Develop Python tools for trading strategy research.
  • Enhance the simulation/backtest framework.
  • Monitor and maintain quantitative research tasks.
  • Support the global research team with EMEA-related projects.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (Master's preferred).
  • Strong Python skills, especially with libraries like Numpy, Pandas, and Polars.
  • At least 5 years of Python development experience.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work well in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
