We're looking for an experienced and organized Project Manager to join our team in Leeds, United Kingdom. In this role, you will lead the successful delivery of projects from inception through completion, ensuring alignment with client expectations, organizational objectives, and regulatory requirements. You'll coordinate cross-functional teams, manage stakeholder relationships, and drive projects to completion while maintaining the highest standards of quality and efficiency.

  • Lead the successful delivery of assigned projects, ensuring adherence to scope, timeline, quality, and cost parameters.
  • Coordinate and manage technical resources and cross-functional teams to fulfill project objectives and deliver high-quality results.
  • Actively identify, analyze, and manage project risks and issues, establishing mitigation strategies and escalating concerns as needed.
  • Oversee contract management throughout the project lifecycle, from initiation through final invoicing, ensuring compliance with organizational frameworks and processes.
  • Develop, manage, and monitor project budgets, ensuring projects are delivered within agreed financial parameters and promptly reporting any cost variances.
  • Establish and track project performance metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs), providing regular and comprehensive status reports to clients and management.
  • Facilitate clear, consistent, and transparent communication with clients, internal teams, and external partners to ensure alignment on project requirements and expectations.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, ensuring requirements are accurately documented and managed throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Plan, allocate, and monitor project resources (human, financial, and material) to ensure optimal utilization and project success.
  • Address resource constraints and conflicts proactively, maintaining flexibility and resilience in resource management.
  • Produce regular highlight reports for assigned projects, identifying achievements, challenges, and mitigation strategies.
  • Promote continuous improvement through lessons learned sessions and the sharing of best practices across the organization.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance project delivery efficiency and management effectiveness.
  • Integrate sustainable practices into project delivery and resource management, contributing to organizational environmental stewardship.
  • Utilize digital tools and project management platforms for streamlined project execution, including data analytics for enhanced decision-making.
  • Enhance organizational visibility with key clients, generating business development opportunities in collaboration with service leads.

  • Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills with the ability to articulate complex information clearly.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects, teams, and clients simultaneously without compromising quality.
  • Solid understanding of financial management, budget control, and cost analysis in project contexts.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills with the ability to solve complex problems.
  • Excellent negotiation and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Leadership skills with demonstrated experience managing and motivating cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in contract management and procurement processes.

Preferred Skills & Competencies

  • Experience with NEC contracts (PSC and/or ECC).
  • Familiarity with financial modeling and pricing tools.
  • Experience integrating sustainability practices into project delivery.
  • Knowledge of market dynamics and pricing strategies.

Certifications (Preferred)

  • PMP (Project Management Professional), PRINCE2, or equivalent project management certification.

Experience Required

  • Proven experience in a project manager role within a professional services, consultancy, or engineering environment.
  • Demonstrated success leading projects from conception through delivery.
  • Experience managing projects with multiple stakeholders and complex requirements.
  • Track record of delivering projects on time, within budget, and to quality standards.

Domain Expertise

  • Understanding of market dynamics and industry-specific pricing strategies.
  • Sector-specific experience is advantageous and will be considered favorably.
