This role involves drafting and negotiating a variety of commercial contracts and agreements, as well as advising the business on legal matters. The client is based in Berkshire but offers flexible hybrid working. Initially, the successful candidate will spend 1-3 months in Berkshire (costs covered by the company). Afterwards, they will work on a hybrid basis from Northampton. The key responsibilities include handling day-to-day legal issues faced by the business, drafting and negotiating contracts, and providing legal advice. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential, along with the ability to manage priorities and stakeholder expectations. The ideal candidate is a UK-qualified solicitor with 2-4 years PQE, with in-house experience preferred but not mandatory. Candidates with private practice experience demonstrating strong commercial skills will also be considered. Applicants outside the PQE range but with relevant experience are encouraged to apply.
