Compliance & Onboarding Administrator
York
Up to £24,000
Full-time, office-based
Are you organised, confident communicating with clients and comfortable working with detailed information?
A well-established law firm in York is looking for a Compliance & Onboarding Administrator to support its client onboarding and financial crime processes
What you’ll be doing:
- Requesting identification and supporting documents from new clients
- Carrying out ID, KYC and anti-money laundering checks
- Reviewing information against regulatory requirements
- Identifying missing or inconsistent details
- Escalating any concerns to the appropriate person
- Acting as a point of contact for clients when further information is required
- Keeping records and onboarding systems accurate and up to date
- Liaising with colleagues across the firm to progress new matters
What we’re looking for:
- Strong administration skills and excellent attention to detail
- Confidence speaking with clients and colleagues
- The ability to handle sensitive information professionally
- Good organisation and the resilience to follow up when information is outstanding
- Previous experience in compliance, financial services, legal administration, client onboarding or document checking would be helpful, but isn’t essential
This could be an excellent opportunity for an experienced administrator looking to move into legal compliance, or someone with existing onboarding, KYC or AML experience looking for their next role
