I’m working with a fantastic law firm based in Staines-upon-Thames that’s looking for an experienced Senior Care Solicitor to join their team. If you’ve got a strong background in Child Care law and want to take a step into a leadership role, this could be the perfect opportunity!
There’s a real focus on departmental development, client relationship-building, and even shaping strategy at a senior level.
In this position, you’ll be handling a full range of Child Care cases from start to finish, representing a variety of clients, including:
- Children, guardians, parents, grandparents, and other family members
Responsibilities include:
- Taking on your own advocacy where possible
- Keeping everything on track with high standards for case management and ensuring compliance with legal aid protocols
- Working closely with the leadership team to help shape departmental strategy and meet key performance targets
We are looking for someone with:
- Solid Child Care experience, ideally with Children Panel membership (or working towards it)
- A senior solicitor who enjoys mentoring and managing others
- Commercially minded and interested in helping the department grow
- Comfortable with advocacy and confident managing your own cases, but also able to step back and lead a team
