The Role:
- Working exclusively alongside a Commercial Litigation Partner on a broad range of contentious matters
- Assisting with complex commercial disputes, contract disputes, shareholder and partnership disputes, professional negligence claims, debt recovery matters, and general business litigation
- Drafting high-quality legal documents, correspondence, witness statements, court applications, and bundles
- Conducting legal research and preparing detailed case summaries
- Liaising directly with clients, counsel, experts, and third parties
- Assisting with case strategy, disclosure exercises, and trial preparation
- Managing your own workload whilst supporting high-value and technically challenging litigation matters
- Attending client meetings, mediations, and court hearings where appropriate
Requirements:
- Minimum 12 months' experience within Commercial Litigation, Civil Litigation, or Dispute Resolution
- Strong understanding of the Civil Procedure Rules (CPR)
- Excellent drafting, communication, and organisational skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work effectively under pressure
- A proactive and commercially minded approach
- Experience using case management systems and litigation software
- Genuine interest in developing a long-term career within Commercial Litigation
