Sports Insurance Solicitor | Equine Rugby | Specialist Litigation Yorkshire | NQ–4 PQE | Hybrid If you're a Personal Injury or Insurance Solicitor who has an interest in sport, this is a slightly different opportunity.
QED's client is a national law firm with a growing specialist Sports and Insurance practice, and they're looking to add a Solicitor to the team as the volume of work continues to increase.
The work sits at the intersection of Sports, Personal Injury and Insurance litigation, with a particularly interesting mix of specialist Equine work, EL/PL claims and serious injury litigation.
The Equine side of the practice includes work for insurers, racing teams, sporting organisations and other high-end clients within the sector.
There is also significant Rugby litigation, including complex brain injury work, alongside wider Sports-related disputes.
You don't need to have worked in Equine or Sports Law before.
In fact, the preference is for someone with a solid litigation background who can be developed into the specialist practice.
What you need to have: Qualified Solicitor with NQ–4 years PQE.
Experience in Personal Injury, EL/PL, Casualty or Insurance Litigation.
A good understanding of the Civil Procedure Rules.
Experience dealing with liability and quantum.
Comfortable handling litigation and working towards trial.
