Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Legal Secretary to join the Family Law Department of a well-established and highly respected law firm.
This is a busy and rewarding role supporting experienced Fee Earners, where you'll play a vital part in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the department while delivering an exceptional service to clients.
The Role Working closely with Fee Earners, you'll provide comprehensive secretarial and administrative support, helping to manage files efficiently, maintain excellent client communication and ensure matters progress smoothly.
Key Responsibilities Audio and copy typing of legal correspondence, court documents and other legal documentation with a high degree of accuracy.
Managing diaries, arranging appointments and preparing files in advance of meetings.
Opening new client files and maintaining accurate records using the firm's case management system.
Liaising professionally with clients, courts and third parties via telephone, email and in person.
Taking detailed messages and dealing with routine client enquiries where appropriate.
Preparing correspondence, legal documents and engrossments.
