You will ideally be a Solicitor with at least 8 Years' PQE+ and have experience of providing top quality private client advice. Whilst the department is only small in terms of headcount, they have a tremendous reputation and a strong client base. Ideally you will have gained good experience of working at a strong city or regional L500 firm. The opportunity for Partnership will be available for the right candidate.Â
This firm are a commercial Legal 500 practice, so many of the clients you will be dealing with will have high value assets and are High Net Worth clients. Work is regularly referred on by the commercial teams and has reached the point where they need to a key figurehead to lead the Private Client team. This is a forward thinking practice and you will benefit from a collegiate environment with no KPI's or billing targets.Â
The work in place will be varied but will consist of wills & probate matters, lasting powers of attorneys, non-contentious trust & probate issues, estate administration and tax matters. The role will also see you work with an experienced team of consultants and help plan the growth of the team, whilst also ensuring new sources of work & existing clients are maintained.Â
