A highly regarded and established law firm in Bramhall is looking to recruit an experienced Senior Conveyancing Assistant / Conveyancing Paralegal to support a Senior Residential Conveyancing Solicitor on a busy caseload. This is an excellent opportunity for either an ambitious paralegal or a senior conveyancing assistant/secretary.

The Role: Working one-to-one with a Senior Solicitor, you will assist with a varied caseload of residential conveyancing matters including freehold, leasehold, sales, purchases, remortgages and transfers of equity.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Liaising with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders and solicitors.
  • Managing residential conveyancing files from instruction through to completion.
  • Drafting legal documents, correspondence and completion statements.
  • Preparing completion packs and supporting exchange and completion processes.
  • Submitting searches and reviewing conveyancing documentation.
  • Updating case management systems and maintaining accurate client records.
  • Providing high-level support on complex residential property transactions.

Requirements:

  • At least 2 years’ experience within a UK residential conveyancing department.
  • Experience assisting on freehold and leasehold conveyancing transactions.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills with clients and third parties.
  • A proactive approach and genuine interest in developing a long-term conveyancing career.
