Senior Associate, Corporate, 4 PQE, £75k, National Law Firm, Manchester You'll join a Manchester corporate team of nine lawyers, backed by a national corporate group of around 100 specialists, so you get the closeness of a regional team with the depth and deal flow of a national platform.
You'll run transactions as the lead day-to-day fee earner, with partners on hand when you need them rather than taking the matter off you.
This is a genuine step up in responsibility, not a senior title on associate work.
The client base is unusually broad, running from high-growth start-ups and university spinouts through to established businesses, investors, management teams and institutions.
M&A is the core, with private equity alongside, and many deals carry an international element.
Private equity experience will help, but it isn't a requirement.
