Job Description For someone who loves family law, enjoys being in court and wants the freedom to take ownership of their work, this is an opportunity to build something really rewarding. I’m working with an established practice with longstanding roots in the Lanarkshire community. You’ll manage your own varied caseload of privately funded and legally aided family matters, including divorce, separation, financial provision and child residence and contact. Ideally, you’ll have around two years’ PQE, experience of legal aid work and the confidence to appear regularly in court. You’ll understand that behind every file is someone navigating a difficult chapter, and you’ll bring patience, clear advice and reassurance alongside strong legal skills. A salary of up to £55,000 is complemented by a lucrative commission scheme linked to your individual fee-earning performance, giving you the opportunity to increase your earnings and see your contribution recognised. Generous holidays, gym membership and further benefits add to the appeal. If you’d like to find out more, please get in touch with Deborah Collier at QED Legal for a confidential chat.
