A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Newly Qualified Solicitor or Junior Litigation Solicitor (NQ – 3 PQE) to join the growing litigation team in Altrincham. This is an excellent opportunity for a Commercial Litigation Solicitor looking to gain hands-on experience within a busy and supportive legal environment, working directly alongside an experienced London-trained Head of Litigation on a broad range of complex and high-value matters.
The successful candidate will work on a varied caseload including debt recovery, repossession claims, property litigation, loan recovery matters, administrations, High Court proceedings, and receiver appointments. You will be given genuine responsibility from the outset, whilst benefiting from close supervision, structured support, and strong career development opportunities.
This role would suit a solicitor with a strong interest in commercial litigation, property litigation, or property finance who is organised, commercially aware, and keen to build long-term litigation expertise within a respected and ambitious law firm.
The Role
- Managing and progressing a varied litigation caseload
- Debt recovery and enforcement proceedings
- Repossession and asset recovery claims
- Loan redemption and recovery matters
- Supporting appointments of receivers and ongoing advisory work
- Assisting on High Court and complex commercial litigation matters
- Drafting legal documentation, correspondence, and court applications
- Liaising with clients, courts, counsel, and third parties
- Maintaining compliance with SRA and client care obligations
Requirements
- Qualified Solicitor in England & Wales
- NQ – 3 years’ PQE
- Experience or strong interest in commercial litigation, property litigation, or dispute resolution
- Excellent organisational and file management skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities
- Confident communication and client management skills
- A proactive, reliable, and team-focused approach
