A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Newly Qualified Solicitor or Junior Litigation Solicitor (NQ – 3 PQE) to join the growing litigation team in Altrincham. This is an excellent opportunity for a Commercial Litigation Solicitor looking to gain hands-on experience within a busy and supportive legal environment, working directly alongside an experienced London-trained Head of Litigation on a broad range of complex and high-value matters.
The successful candidate will work on a varied caseload including:
- Debt recovery
- Repossession claims
- Property litigation
- Loan recovery matters
- Administrations
- High Court proceedings
- Receiver appointments
You will be given genuine responsibility from the outset, whilst benefiting from close supervision, structured support, and strong career development opportunities. This role would suit a solicitor with a strong interest in commercial litigation, property litigation, or property finance who is organised, commercially aware, and keen to build long-term litigation expertise within a respected and ambitious law firm.
The Role:
- Managing and progressing a varied litigation caseload
- Debt recovery and enforcement proceedings
- Repossession and asset recovery claims
- Loan redemption and recovery matters
- Supporting appointments of receivers and ongoing advisory work
- Assisting on High Court and complex commercial litigation matters
- Drafting legal documentation, correspondence, and court applications
- Liaising with clients, courts, counsel, and third parties
- Maintaining compliance with SRA and client care obligations
Requirements:
- Qualified Solicitor in England & Wales
- NQ – 3 years’ PQE
- Experience or strong interest in commercial litigation, property litigation, or dispute resolution
- Excellent organisational and file management skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities
- Confident communication and client management skills
- A proactive, reliable, and team-focused approach
