An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Conveyancing Assistant to join a well-established, growing law firm with an excellent reputation in the Residential Property sector. This is an ideal role for an experienced Conveyancing Assistant, Conveyancing Paralegal, Residential Property Assistant or Legal Assistant looking to develop their career within a supportive and progressive team.

Working alongside an experienced Residential Conveyancer, you will provide hands-on support across a varied caseload of Residential Conveyancing matters from instruction through to completion.

The Role

  • Assisting an experienced fee earner with a busy Residential Conveyancing caseload.
  • Liaising with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders and solicitors.
  • Preparing legal documentation and correspondence.
  • Updating and maintaining the firm's case management system.
  • Preparing completion statements and completion packs.
  • Handling completions and post-completion administration.
  • Providing excellent client service throughout the conveyancing transaction.
  • Supporting the team to ensure matters progress efficiently from instruction to completion.

About You

  • A minimum of 1 year's experience working within a Residential Conveyancing department.
  • Experience as a Conveyancing Assistant, Conveyancing Paralegal, Legal Assistant or Residential Property Assistant.
  • Excellent organisational and administrative skills.
  • Strong communication and client care abilities.
  • A proactive attitude with a genuine desire to develop your career within Conveyancing.
  • Experience using a legal case management system is advantageous.
