Opportunity to join this fantastic Carlisle-based practice and work as part of a small conveyancing team that provides a Rolls-Royce service to a local & regional client base. The firm has a ready-made client base & caseload to work with and is seeking an experienced fee earner to take over an existing caseload.
You will need to be comfortable dealing with a caseload of at least 80 matters with the ability to run transactions from start to finish. The caseload will consist of sales, purchases, right to buy, transfer of equity, new builds, shared ownership, remortgage and staircasing finance, as well as including freehold, leasehold, registered and unregistered land matters.
Given that the local client base does consist of local businesses and agricultural clients, there may be the need to deal with commercial property & agricultural property work; training will be provided on this if you are short of experience in this area.
The pre-requisite for this role is 2 years' experience, and ideally you will be a Solicitor or Legal Executive; however, non-qualified Fee Earners will also be considered for this role. You will need to be able to deal with cases from inception to completion and work with a Paralegal, as you will have a Paralegal & Secretary providing you with support.
This firm can offer a whole host of benefits to include flexi-time, Christmas shut down, extended lunch hours, work/life balance and future Partnership. Salary will be ranging in the £35,000 to £50,000; however, for existing Partners looking for a change, this salary banding can be broken.
