Full-Time (35 hours) or 4+ Days per Week

I’m currently working with a well-established and respected regional law firm that is looking to grow its Residential Conveyancing team in either Hartlepool or Stockton. With one of the largest conveyancing departments in the region, this firm is known for providing a client-focused, high-quality service across all stages of residential transactions. This role offers a fantastic opportunity for a conveyancer looking for stability, support, and a firm that genuinely values its people.

The Opportunity

This is a chance to join a busy, well-resourced team within a firm that has an excellent reputation locally and beyond. You’ll be supported by experienced colleagues and will play a key role in maintaining and enhancing service quality.

Your caseload will include:

  • Freehold and leasehold sales and purchases
  • Remortgages and transfers of equity
  • Shared ownership and Help to Buy
  • Unregistered titles and title rectifications
  • Working closely with referrers and estate agents

You’ll also be expected to supervise support staff to ensure files progress efficiently and clients are kept fully informed throughout what is often a stressful and time-sensitive process.

Who We’re Looking For

  • An experienced Residential Conveyancer, whether qualified solicitor, CILEX, licensed conveyancer, or experienced fee earner
  • Proven ability to manage a volume caseload from instruction to completion with minimal supervision
  • Confident communicator with excellent client care skills
  • Able to build and maintain relationships with referrers and introducers
  • Self-motivated, well-organised, and passionate about delivering great service

Why Apply?

  • Join a well-established and friendly team within a respected regional firm
  • Enjoy a broad, interesting caseload with great support and infrastructure
  • Opportunities for career progression and further development
  • A firm that values work-life balance – flexible options available
  • Modern systems and a strong referral network in place

This is a full-time role (35 hours, Mon–Fri), but the firm is open to part-time applicants (minimum four days per week).
