A full-time Residential Conveyancer position has arisen in my client’s Nottingham office. This role offers the chance to manage a wide range of residential property transactions, supporting clients through every step of the process and gaining hands-on experience in conveyancing.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Managing residential property sales, purchases, and remortgages from start to completion
- Preparing, reviewing, and checking contracts, title documents, and related legal paperwork
- Liaising with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders, and other professionals throughout the transaction
- Conducting searches and investigations, including title checks and enquiries
- Managing case files and ensuring all documentation is accurate and up to date
- Preparing completion statements and facilitating post-completion procedures
- Providing clear guidance to clients on the conveyancing process
- Supporting fee earners with administrative tasks to ensure smooth case progression
- Ensuring compliance with internal processes and regulatory requirements
Previous experience in residential conveyancing is highly desirable.
You will bring:
- Previous experience handling residential property transactions
- Excellent organisation, time management, and attention to detail
- Confidence in using Microsoft Word, Excel, and case management systems
- The ability to manage multiple cases efficiently in a busy environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including professional telephone manner
- A proactive, flexible, and team-oriented approach
- Legal qualifications or relevant experience in conveyancing (paralegal or licensed conveyancer)
