This is an opportunity to join a long-established Worcestershire law firm with an excellent reputation across the local market for providing high quality client care rather than operating a high-volume conveyancing model. The firm has a strong and consistent pipeline of residential property work, meaning this is not a role where you will be expected to spend your time bringing work in unless that is something you genuinely enjoy. You will join a supportive and collaborative team where colleagues enjoy bouncing ideas off one another, whilst still being trusted to manage their own caseloads with autonomy.
Looking for a role where you can focus on doing good quality conveyancing rather than constantly worrying about unrealistic targets and business development expectations? Or perhaps you are looking for a firm where you can actually have your own office, manageable files and the time to provide clients with the service they deserve?
The role
- Managing a varied residential conveyancing caseload from instruction through to completion
- Handling matters including freehold and leasehold sales and purchases, remortgages, transfers of equity and shared ownership transactions
- Providing a high standard of client care throughout the transaction process
- Working closely with a friendly and experienced property team
- Having autonomy over your files whilst still having support available whenever needed
- Optional involvement in networking and relationship building for those who enjoy that side of conveyancing, although this is absolutely not a requirement of the role
You
- Qualified Solicitor, Chartered Legal Executive or Licensed Conveyancer
- Around 4 years’ residential conveyancing experience or above
- Comfortable handling your own caseload with minimal supervision
- Strong communication and client care skills
- Someone who values quality over volume and enjoys building long-term client relationships
- A team player who enjoys working within a supportive office environment
Benefits
- Salary from £35,000 - £55,000 depending on experience
- 25 days holiday plus bank holidays
- Christmas office closure
- Hybrid working following settling-in period
- Excellent bonus scheme offering 20% on anything billed above target
