A growing, well-regarded law firm in Prestwich is seeking a Residential Conveyancer, Conveyancing Executive, or Property Solicitor to join its expanding team. This is a unique opportunity suited to conveyancers at all levels — from experienced fee earners to senior solicitors — with a clear route to leadership and Partnership for those looking to progress.
The Role:
- You will handle a manageable residential conveyancing caseload, alongside contributing to the development of the department.
- For senior candidates, this role offers the chance to take on team leadership, operational input, and strategic responsibility, working closely with the Managing Partner.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a caseload of residential conveyancing matters from instruction to completion (freehold, leasehold, shared ownership).
- Potentially managing a team of 3, including a 2-year PQE Solicitor.
- Ensure smooth progression of files in line with the conveyancing process and compliance requirements.
- Liaise with clients, agents, lenders, and third parties.
- Support or oversee workflows across instructions, fee earners, and post-completions.
- Assist with risk management, compliance, and process improvement.
- Mentor junior staff and support team development (senior level).
Requirements:
- Proven experience in residential conveyancing.
- Ability to manage files independently from start to finish.
- Strong knowledge of the full conveyancing lifecycle.
- Excellent communication and client care skills.
- Previous supervisory experience or ambition to step into leadership (desirable).
