Job Description
Principal Associate position in London specialising in insurance and reinsurance litigation with particular focus on coverage disputes and advice.
The team acts for major London Market insurers, global Insurers and reinsurers etc across a broad range of complex and high-value claims.
The team advises on technically challenging coverage disputes, defence claims and reinsurance matters across a range of sectors and policy types.
They are ideally seeking a Solicitor of 5/6 years PQE upwards to join the team.
You should have a solid background in advising insurers and reinsurers on complex coverage and defence matters and be able to handle reinsurance disputes and strategic advisory work.
You should have a strong understanding of the London Market and the relationship between insurers, reinsurers, brokers and lawyers and have experience of complex commercial insurance policies and policy interpretation.
A large part of the caseload is international in nature and involves losses/claims in foreign jurisdiction and dealing with foreign local counsel.
