A long-established and highly regarded law firm is looking to recruit an experienced Residential Property Solicitor to join its friendly and supportive team based in Wharf Valley.
This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified solicitor with a minimum of 3 years’ PQE who is looking to develop a broad and rewarding role within a stable firm that offers genuine long-term progression and future growth opportunities.
The Role
You will manage a varied caseload of residential property matters including:
- Freehold and leasehold sales and purchases
- Transfers of equity
- Covenants and easements
- General residential conveyancing matters
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships
This is a client-facing role, so strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential. The successful candidate will enjoy working closely with clients and delivering a high standard of service throughout the transaction process.
The Candidate
The firm is looking for someone who:
- Is a qualified solicitor with at least 3 years’ PQE in residential property
- Has experience handling equity transfers, covenants and easements
- Can confidently manage their own caseload independently
- Has strong IT skills and experience using case management systems
- Enjoys working collaboratively within a close-knit team
- Is proactive, personable and commercially aware
The Opportunity
This is a mainly office-based role in Otley, with flexibility for fee earners to work from home one day per week or on an ad hoc basis where needed.
The firm is particularly keen to hear from candidates living locally or within commuting distance of areas such as Ilkley, Harrogate, Leeds, Bradford and Skipton.
