The Role
- Managing a varied employment law caseload with a strong focus on Employment Tribunal advocacy
- Representing clients in preliminary hearings, case management hearings, and multi-day final hearings
- Handling matters involving discrimination, whistleblowing, unfair dismissal, detriment claims, wages disputes, and jurisdictional issues
- Advising employer clients on disciplinary matters, grievances, dismissals, equal pay, and wider employment law issues
- Drafting tribunal responses, witness statements, hearing bundles, reports, and legal correspondence
- Supporting and mentoring junior members of the team where appropriate
- Assisting with business development initiatives including networking, client training, and legal updates
- Working closely with Partners to contribute to the continued growth of the practice
You
- 4 years PQE within employment law, although candidates with relevant experience outside this level will still be considered
- Strong Employment Tribunal advocacy experience, including multi-day hearings
- Excellent technical employment law knowledge
- Confident communicator with strong organisational and time management skills
- Able to manage competing priorities and work effectively under pressure
- Team-oriented with a proactive and commercial approach
- Previous mentoring or supervisory experience would be advantageous
