Family Solicitor / Matrimonial Solicitor – Equity Partnership Opportunity | Hybrid Working | Up to £75,000.
A highly regarded and well-established law firm is looking to recruit an experienced Family Solicitor / Matrimonial Solicitor to join its established family law team.
This is an exceptional opportunity for a Family Lawyer with around 4–5 years' PQE to take over an existing, high-quality matrimonial caseload following the retirement of a senior fee-earner.\n \n \n The successful Family Solicitor will inherit an established caseload, work with a high degree of autonomy and have a genuine opportunity to progress towards equity partnership and ownership of the department as part of the firm's succession planning.\n \n With two of the firm's owners approaching retirement, the firm is actively considering its next generation of Equity Partners, making this an excellent long-term opportunity for an ambitious Family Lawyer looking for a route to partnership.\n \n The Role – Family / Matrimonial Solicitor The successful Family Solicitor will:\n \n \n

• Take over an established and high-quality matrimonial and family law caseload following the retirement of a senior solicitor.
- Handle a range of divorce and financial remedy matters, including financially complex matrimonial cases.
- Deal with occasional private children matters, although the primary focus will be on divorce, matrimonial finance and financial remedy work.
- Manage matters from initial instruction through to conclusion with a high level of autonomy.
- Develop strong, long-term relationships with private clients.
- Work closely with an experienced PA / Paralegal, who will remain with the firm and provide ongoing support.
- Help develop and grow the firm's established Family Law department.
- Have the opportunity to build towards Equity Partnership as part of the firm's long-term succession planning.

• Qualification as a Solicitor in England & Wales.
- Ideally 4–5 years' PQE, although applications from candidates outside this level will be considered depending on experience.
- Strong experience in Family Law / Matrimonial Law, particularly divorce and financial remedy work.
- A strong private client approach, with excellent communication and client care skills.
- The confidence and ability to manage a caseload independently.
- The ability to work autonomously without the need for close supervision.
- A commercially minded and ambitious approach, with an interest in developing towards partnership / equity partnership.
- The ability to work as the principal Family Law fee-earner within the office.
