A very well-regarded law firm is seeking an experienced Family / Matrimonial Solicitor to take over a caseload following the retirement of a senior fee-earner. This is an opportunity to inherit high-quality work, work with autonomy, and progress towards equity partnership in short order.
The Role:
- Managing an existing matrimonial caseload left by a retiring solicitor
- Handling divorce and financial remedy matters
- Occasional children work, though the focus is firmly on financial aspects
- Opportunity to grow and further develop the family department
Candidate Requirements:
- Qualified Solicitor (England & Wales)
- Ideally 4–5 years’ PQE, though this is flexible
- Comfortable being the only family fee-earner in the office
- Strong private-client approach and excellent client care skills
