£80k to £100k plus bonus - London – low target hours and unrivalled flexibility. Leading law firm are looking for a Corporate Tax Associate with 1 to 4 PQE to join their leading corporate tax team, based from their London office (located in the City).

They are open to applicants from either an accountancy or legal background, including lawyers looking to relocate to London – whether from rest of the UK/Ireland or a commonwealth jurisdiction. This firm is renowned for its flexibility - they are open to discussion around reduced office attendance / fully remote roles - and also for their promotion of a strong work-life balance. This firm have some of the lowest chargeable hours targets available.

The entire UK corporate tax team is significant in size and well-stocked at all levels, meaning juniors always have adequate support on hand and seniors have sufficient juniors to delegate to. Compelling progression pathway on offer – this firm’s corporate tax team is underweight and a strategic area of focus for this firm.

Work on offer is a good mix of corporate tax (M&A, private equity, corporate reorganisations and restructures), employee incentives and employment-related taxation, property tax and venture capital tax, primarily for blue-chip clients. You do not need to have experience in all of these – just a desire to upskill as required and first class training is on offer to support with this. You will get exposure to all workstreams and will be allowed to build a practice and support on the areas you find of genuine interest.
