Leading firm are looking for a solicitor with between 1 and 4 Years' PQE to join their banking team. You can be based in either Edinburgh or Glasgow, with a very good hybrid working policy (2 days in the office) available. This really is a great opportunity.

The work on offer is very high quality and spans corporate lending, acquisition finance, real estate and development finance, project finance and asset finance, working on both Scottish and English mandates for several big-ticket clients.

However, what makes this role really special is the fact you get to work on high-quality mandates but at a firm which prioritises flexibility, firm culture, and work-life balance. This banking team is run by Partners who have young families themselves and understand the juggle - they are regularly logged off by 6pm and late night/weekend working is non-existent.

The team are very friendly, collaborative and supportive, and there are very clear pathways for progression to senior roles for those who want it, with no requirement for time-served or a set PQE level for promotion.

This role would be perfect for a banking solicitor currently at a 'big' firm who enjoys the work they do but is looking for a more sustainable environment/workload in the long term; or someone in a top heavy-team who is keen to join an ambitious firm with plenty of space for new legal directors / Partners in its banking team. Equally, it would be a great role for a banking solicitor looking for a better culture and more supportive environment than at their current firm.
