\nI’m currently working with a leading national law firm looking to hire an experienced Risk Lawyer into its established Risk & Compliance function. It’s a broad advisory role covering partnership governance, client terms, professional regulation and wider commercial risk.\n
\n
The Role\n
\n
- \n
- SRA Standards & Regulations, Principles and Codes of Conduct, alongside wider professional regulatory matters
- Client engagement terms, Outside Counsel Guidelines, panel terms and framework agreements
- Supplier agreements and other commercial documentation
- Firm-wide policies and procedures
- Strategic and operational risk matters
- Regulatory queries and engagement with relevant professional bodies

About you
You'll be comfortable advising lawyers, partners and senior stakeholders on regulatory and wider risk matters, with a good understanding of the SRA Standards & Regulations and the practical issues that come with applying them within a law firm.
\n
\n• Qualified Solicitor with 3+ years’ PQE\n
\n• Previous law firm risk management experience\n
\n• Strong understanding of SRA regulation and professional conduct\n
\n• Experience advising on contractual arrangements within a law firm environment\n
\n• Commercially minded and comfortable working with senior stakeholders\n
\n• Able to manage competing priorities and give practical, solutions-focused advice\n
\n
