Hybrid Working Manchester, Bristol, Birmingham or Scotland Full time or Part time. I’m currently working with a leading national law firm with a fast-growing Risk & Compliance team, looking to hire an experienced Risk Lawyer into a new position within their established legal risk function. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified solicitor with experience advising on regulatory and contractual risk matters within a law firm environment, who is looking to join a highly respected and collaborative team.
The Role:
- Advising on client engagement terms, outside counsel guidelines, panel appointments and commercial contracts
- Supporting partnership governance matters including lateral hires and retirements
- Advising on SRA Standards & Regulations and wider legal regulatory obligations
- Assisting with supplier agreements, policy reviews and wider strategic risk projects
- Working closely with senior stakeholders across the business on operational and regulatory matters
About you:
- Qualified Solicitor with 3+ years’ PQE
- Previous experience within a law firm Risk & Compliance function
- Strong understanding of SRA regulations and legal risk management
- Commercially minded with excellent stakeholder management skills
- Able to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
