A fantastic opportunity for a legal assistant, junior legal assistant or a bright and ambitious LLB graduate to join a leading legal service provider's brand new firm based in Central Manchester. A new firm is being set up in a beautiful, iconic building just off Deansgate. There will be full training provided, and you, along with the rest of the first response team, will be the first point of contact for all new instructions given to the firm.
The firm specialises in litigation and will initially deal with legal matters relating to property and housing. This group has some of the best funding available and the support of a leading Northwest firm. They also give an excellent opportunity for people to progress into a senior position quickly due to their rapid expansion.
The Role:
- Intake & Initial Screening: Handling incoming calls/emails, acting as the first point of contact for legal queries, and conducting initial client assessments.
- Case File Initiation: Creating new files, setting up case management systems, and organising both digital and paper records.
- Document Preparation: Drafting letters, agreements, and pleadings using templates.
- Evidence Collection & Management.
The Individual:
- Ideally, some legal experience, either as an assistant or administrator.
- At least an LLB degree.
- A good telephone manner.
- A positive can-do attitude and natural ability to be a good ambassador for the firm.
