We’re working with a brilliant Top 100 UK law firm known for its strong reputation in risk, compliance, and business integrity. They’re now looking for a Compliance / BAU team lead to support the team through a key time of growth and play a key role in leading business acceptance and ongoing monitoring activity across the firm.
This is a hands-on supervisory role within a high-performing Business Acceptance function. You’ll manage a team of analysts while acting as a key escalation point for complex queries and firm-wide compliance matters.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise analysts across conflicts, CDD, AML, and risk assessments
- Allocate and triage incoming BAU work to meet SLAs
- Provide clear, risk-based advice on:
- Client onboarding / inception
- Source of funds & wealth
- Third-party payments
- Conflicts of interest
- 4+ years’ experience in legal compliance / business acceptance
- Strong knowledge of:
- AML regulations (Money Laundering Regulations 2017)
- Conflicts of interest rules (SRA / Law Society frameworks)
