An excellent opportunity has arisen to join a highly regarded Lexcel and CQS accredited firm with a strong and growing national residential property team. This is a full time position and would suit an experienced residential property lawyer who is confident managing their own caseload and contributing positively to a supportive, professional team environment.
The role
- You will handle a full range of residential conveyancing matters from initial instruction through to post completion.
- The work will include:
- Managing residential sales and purchases
- Handling remortgage and equity release transactions
- Dealing with shared ownership leases, variations of lease and new build purchases
- Handling Help to Buy matters
- Checking titles for freehold and leasehold properties
- Dealing with transfers of equity and matrimonial transfers
- Providing guidance and support to conveyancing assistants within the department
- Developing and maintaining client contacts in the local area
- Cross referring work to other departments where appropriate
About you
- You will be a Solicitor, Legal Executive or Licensed Conveyancer, ideally with 5 years PQE or equivalent experience.
- You will have:
- Strong experience handling residential property matters independently
- The ability to manage a caseload from start to finish with minimal supervision
- Good local knowledge of the area
- A professional, client focused and relationship driven approach
- The ability to work collaboratively and maintain positive working relationships across the firm
