A highly regarded boutique London law firm is looking to appoint a Residential Property Associate or Senior Associate to join its growing team in North London. The residential property team continues to grow and is now seeking an experienced solicitor to play a key role in the development of the office.

The role

You will handle a broad range of residential property matters including freehold and leasehold sales and purchases, refinancing work and new leases, while advising a varied client base including investors, developers, landlords and tenants. Alongside managing your own caseload, you will work closely with partners to help shape and expand the property offering. There will also be opportunities to contribute to business development initiatives, networking events and client relationship building.

Responsibilities

  • Managing a varied residential conveyancing caseload from instruction to completion
  • Advising investors, developers, landlords and tenants on strategic property matters
  • Building and maintaining relationships with local agents and referrers
  • Supporting the continued growth of the Islington property team
  • Attending networking and marketing events
  • Contributing articles and content for newsletters and legal updates
  • Supervising and mentoring trainees, paralegals and junior team members
  • Delivering consistently high levels of client service
  • Ensuring compliance with SRA standards and internal risk management procedures

Candidate profile

The firm is keen to hear from Residential Property Solicitors with at least 5 years’ PQE and strong technical experience across a broad range of residential property transactions. You should be commercially aware, highly organised and confident managing your own workload within a busy team environment. Strong communication and client care skills are essential, together with previous experience supervising or mentoring junior colleagues. Applicants will also have achieved a 2:1 or First Class undergraduate degree.
