I'm working with a fantastic high street City law firm that's looking to appoint a Compliance & Office Manager to take ownership of the firm's compliance framework while overseeing the day-to-day operations of the office.

This is a genuinely varied role, perfect for someone who enjoys wearing multiple hats and wants to play a key part in the smooth running of a well-established law firm.

The Role?

  • Leading the firm's SRA regulatory compliance and AML framework
  • Developing and maintaining policies, procedures and internal controls
  • Managing complaints, breaches, conflicts and compliance registers
  • Supporting GDPR and data protection processes
  • Leading internal audits and coordinating external accreditations where required
  • Delivering compliance training and promoting best practice across the firm
  • Reporting directly to the Managing Partner on compliance and risk matters
  • Overseeing the day-to-day running of the office, facilities and suppliers
  • Supporting business continuity planning and operational improvements

About you?

  • Previous legal compliance experience within an SRA-regulated law firm
  • Strong knowledge of SRA Standards & Regulations, AML and GDPR
  • A practical, solutions-focused approach to compliance
  • Excellent organisational and stakeholder management skills
  • Someone who enjoys combining compliance with operational responsibility
