A well established and highly regarded law firm is looking to recruit a Conveyancing Paralegal to join its busy Residential Property team. The firm has a long standing presence across London and the surrounding areas and is known for providing practical, client focused advice with a personal and approachable service. The role
You will support fee earners on a broad mix of residential conveyancing matters, assisting with transactions from instruction through to completion. Work will include freehold and leasehold sales and purchases, remortgages, transfers of equity and buy to let transactions, with exposure to shared ownership and other specialist residential matters. Responsibilities will include drafting and preparing documentation, carrying out searches, liaising with clients, estate agents and lenders, managing files and assisting with the progression of matters through to completion.
The candidate
You will have previous experience working as a Conveyancing Paralegal or Legal Assistant within a residential property team. A good understanding of the conveyancing process is essential, and experience dealing with leasehold matters or new build transactions would be advantageous but is not essential. You will be organised, detail focused and confident communicating with clients and third parties, with the ability to work effectively in a busy team environment.
